Todd Maki Earns a Top Leadership Position with RESCUE 101

FL House District 87 Candidate, Todd Maki, takes a top position in Rescue-101, a company aimed at saving lives. He accepted the position of Sales Manager, leading a team of expert Firefighters and Health Instructors into the community. Boca Raton, FL (NetSweets) August 19, 2008 -- FL House District 87 Candidate, Todd Maki, takes a top position in Recue-101, a company aimed at saving lives. He accepted the position of Sales Manager, leading a team of expert Firefighters and Health Instructors into the community to “enhance public safety and ensure proper training techniques to save lives.” Maki is honored to have been offered the position. “With the inadequate training of lifesaving techniques prevalent today, I am honored to be in a position to assist in saving lives in our community.” With so much on his plate already, Todd is passionate about his involvement in Rescue 101 and his desire to make others aware of the necessity of proper safety skills and training. “Assuring that people are aware of the health risks involved with not being properly trained using equipment meant to save lives,” is one of his primary goals. Rescue 101’s health and safety instructors consist of certified paramedics, firefighters, police officers, and lifeguards who dedicate their time to increase confidence among participants, giving you with the peace of mind at the time of an emergency. Sam Tejada, the President of Rescue 101 states, “We believe everyone should know what we know about health, safety, and crisis prevention in order to become properly prepared. What differentiates us from others is our experience, personalized-service, superb customer service, and true results.” While earning his degree in political science, Todd pursued his interest in the government setting. He took part in the student government association as the Secretary of Municipal Affairs, served as a legislative intern for Senator Dave Aronberg and Senator Ron Klein, and was involved in the Ron Klein Congressional Campaign as the Deputy Field Staff/Recruiter. Currently the Democratic candidate for Florida House of Representatives District 87, Todd has dedicated a large portion of his life to volunteering in the community. He participated in the American Red Cross Disaster Alert Team, Food for the Poor, Habitat for Humanity and the Palm Beach and Martin County Alzheimer’s Community Care. While teaching the fundamentals of safe swimming as aquatic supervisor and head swim instructor at the Boca Raton YMCA, Todd discovered that teaching these skills gave students a sense of assurance and confidence. He initiated and facilitated a leadership course as part of PBCC’s Summer Youth College to develop future leaders and help today’s youth fulfill their dreams in life.
